Genealogy & Research Hours and Fees Information
The research center is open Wednesday through Friday from 12:00 to 4:00.
Space is limited so calling ahead for an appointment is highly recommended. (860-642-6579). Appointments may be available for weekday mornings or Saturday afternoon. Please call to inquire.
To visit Lebanon and use our resources yourself:
Use of facilities fee:
- Members – Free
- Non-members – $5 per day
Staff assistance with research:
- Members – $5/hour
- Non-members – $10/hour
Photocopies, printouts or digital copies:
- Members – $0.25/page
- Non-members – $0.50/page
For research by our volunteer Genealogist:
All requests must be submitted in writing and will not be accepted by phone.

Fees for copies of original records and shipping and handling will be charged in addition to the research fee.
For your convenience, you can have the results of your search inquiry sent to you electronically via email. Be sure to provide a clearly written email address on the Research Request Form.
If you prefer to receive the report by U.S. mail, be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope, $3.00 for shipping and handling, along with your written request.
Payment options: on-line with credit card or download and mail in request with payment by check.
