Volunteer Opportunities

Becoming a Volunteer

Would you like to get involved with the Historical Society and Museum? Do you have an interest in history? Do you love Lebanon and want to give back? Have you ever wanted to try teaching, researching or developing a program? Consider volunteering at the Lebanon Historical Society Museum and Visitor Center.

Our volunteers are friendly hard-working folks who enjoy sharing the history of our town.  Whether you are looking for a weekly opportunity, have a few hours a month available or just want to help with one program a year, we have many volunteer opportunities to offer.

Contact community@historyoflebanon.org to share your interest and for more information.

It is only through the support of dedicated volunteers that the Lebanon Historical Society and Museum are able to compile and share the rich history of this great town.

Volunteers are:
Historic Buildings Guides / Docents
Gardeners
Refreshments Providers
Program Greeters
Special Events Planners
School Program Leaders
Event Coordinators
Exhibit Installers
Antique Show Crew Members
Research Project Helpers
Transcribers
We also happy to assist with Girl Scout Silver or Gold Award Projects, Eagle Scout and student Senior Projects.

If you have an idea of your own, or a skill or talent to share, just let us know. We’ll happily see how to fit your interests with our existing needs.
